I Love New Mexico

About all things New Mexican

Santa Fe

Luci the Pug is now a city dog.

Before we lived in Santa Fe, she didn’t require a morning walk because she had room to roam, and Holly the companion dog to keep her active.

Santa Fe, Railyard District

So now, every morning as soon as my feet hit the floor, she’s whining for me to get myself dressed and the leash out of the pantry.

But I’m not complaining. Taking Luci for a walk is always a treat.

I see something new every day. This post is a series of architectural details we pass IN THE FIRST BLOCK of our walk.

Yeah, that’s my new neighborhood.

Quintessentially New Mexico.

That’s how I see these homes in this old Santa Fe neighborhood.

I’m lucky to live here.

Lucky to have Luci to get me out and about and noticing how beautiful everything is. . .

We enjoyed all of these sights the weekend we were there. I love your neighborhood and your house. It feels like you.

This is no doubt a little bit of Bunny Heaven, placed right here at some point in time….waiting for the day when you and your sweet four legged friend would take your steps to a new life. “ASI` ES NUEVO MEJICO”

  2. I love the photos of the doors and gates. There is a certain aura of mystery about them, as in what’s on the other side? I would love to see photos of Luci! I love pugs.

These are nothing short of beautiful. I love the areas around River Park and Canyon Road.

Saw one of your photos on Pinterest randomly which led me here. . . we must be neighbors because those pictures are what I see when I walk out of my house. Nice to “meet” you. 🙂
